NMR Facilities Manager. The Department of Chemistry of the
University of Connecticut seeks a manager of its NMR center located
in our new building. In addition to the day-to-day operation of the
center, responsibilities include hardware and software maintenance,
training, and assisting in the design and execution of experiments.
The successful candidate will have a Masters or Ph. D. degree and
experience in NMR, although candidates with a BS degree and extensive
experience will also be given full consideration. Interested
applicants should send a curriculum vitae and should arrange for
three letters of recommendation to be sent to: Professor W. Bailey,
NMR Search Committee Chair, Department of Chemistry, University of
Connecticut, U-60, 55 North Eagleville Rd., Storrs, CT 06269-3060.
Review of applications will begin on March 22, 2000 and will continue
until the position is filled. The Univ. of Connecticut encourages
