Wondering what the current consensus is on efficient and RF-quiet lighting
for an NMR lab. The remote-fluorescent lights are a pain to constantly
replace, and are rather dreary even when they are functioning. I'd like to
switch to LEDs (I like the 2.7 - 3 kK variety, personally) if they will not
produce noise or other unwanted effects, be bright enough, and relatively
maintenance-free.
>From searching the archives, it seems that any interference from lighting
is minimal; but, since most of the discussion I saw was from the last
millennium, I thought it would be a good time to survey the community.
While I am especially interested in experiences with retro-fitting,
equipment used in new builds would be helpful to hear about as well. Thanks
in advance for your responses.
Cheers,
Conner
