Thanks so much for the responses. Several people volunteered to send me extra upper barrel parts. It was also suggested that simply cleaning the sensor will often fix the problem. David Vandervelde sent me the actual part number from the Mouser Electronics catalog. The part number is OPB 706A and they cost $1.84 each. The original manufacturer is Optek.
