Hi,
I received the 1/4 wave cable and tried Co59 again. I got very strong signal on K3Co(CN)6. I used the same probe, same parameters as last time. Agilent is right. It was the cable problem. It surprised me. But that is the truth.
Thank you for your suggestion. Have a nice holiday.

Hi,
Thank you all for your suggestion. The sample I am using is Co59 standard K3CO(CN)6, which should give a sharp peak (line width 5 Hz) at 0 ppm. So large line width or huge chemical shift range should not be problem here. And I can see good tuning signal.
I called Agilent and they suggested I used the wrong 1/4 ware cable on the low band. My 94 MHz Co59 signal cannot pass through this cable. This surprised me since I can run Si29 (79 MHz), C13 (100 Mhz) and P31 (160 MHz) without any problem.
I ordered a new 1/4 wave cable anyway. I will let you know the results after I tried it again with the new cable.

Subject: Co59 NMR
Hi,
Did anybody run 59Co NMR before? I tried everything and it didn't work. I even got no signal from the standard K3Co(CN)6, which should give a sharp peak. My tuning is good and I am sure my probe is OK. Any trick I might be missing? Thanks.
