The good people of New Mexico have granted us money to renovate the
60?-year old Chemistry building. At the moment, every day is a different
story- the NMR facility may stay in the basement, with no basement
renovation, or it may move to the first floor into completely (tear
everything out except the support beams and rebuild) renovated space.
Or something in between.
Now is the time for me to ask for things. So, those of you with recent
renovations/construction, what did you do right, what went wrong, what
should you have requested/demanded, what didn't matter.
Replies to me, please. I'll summarize and post.
thanks,
kas
