This is an exciting opportunity to join the Research Department of Pharmaceutical and Biological Chemistry which comprises 19 academic staff and 7 support staff and has a long and highly successful track record of research in fundamental science and drug discovery. The role entails supervising and line managing the laboratory facilities support team within the Research Department of Pharmaceutical and Biological Chemistry; managing the Structural Chemistry Facilities (mostly NMR with some mass spectrometry) within the School of Pharmacy and providing technical and logistical support for research undertaken by PIs in the Research Department. The NMR facility is currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment, and includes a newly-purchased Bruker 600 MHz Avance NEO with QCI-F cryoprobe, SampleJet and liquid handling robot for high throughput analysis of chemical and biological samples.
I’d be pleased if you could circulate this offer to other colleagues who may be interested. Informal inquiries can be addressed to myself or the Head of Research Department, Professor Matthew Todd (matthew.todd_at_ucl.ac.uk<mailto:matthew.todd_at_ucl.ac.uk>). The closing date is 29th August.
Thanks, and best wishes,
Chris
