That’s what we did. The compressor you linked to would be fine. An timed/ automatic water dump would be nice, if not you need to drain the condensed water every couple days. Also put an oil trap on the airline as it comes out of your compressor

We are having issues with facilities and the compressors that provide the NMR lab with compressed air. Every other month or so, the compressors go down for a day or two and we cannot use the NMRs due to a lack of air pressure. Some of the faculty are offering to purchase electric air compressors (

Before I go through with the purchase, I figured I would ask AMMRL if anyone has a similar set up or if it is a bad idea to use a commercial compressor. We would plum it into the lines so that it will go through all the filters that the house compressed air goes through. I am worried about the vibrations and the noise in the lab, but am curious what peoples opinions are.
