The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Research Associate will perform work within the NMR Core Laboratory of the Department of Chemistry. The NMR Research Associate will be responsible for:
a. General maintenance of NMR spectrometers, including Cryogen fills and routine instrument calibration
b. Basic trouble shooting of the NMR equipment
c. Implementation and testing of NMR applications.
d. Data analysis of experiment results
e. Interpretation of experiment results
f. Management of NMR data processing and calendar computers
g. Coordinating routine maintenance of the spectrometers with NMR staff
h. Identifying experiments and protocols for routine use in the NMR Core
i. Providing educational tools to research personnel and students to meet research goals of the department.
j. The NMR Research Associate will lead aspects of research and experimental design.
