Thanks for all the replies,
As it turns out (and of course occured to me after sending out my email) I
returned the turbine to its original owner for safekeeping, and will be
able to get it back easily.
As usual many helpful suggestions, including several glowing
recommendations for Norell inserts, which are much less expensive than a
new turbine, and apparently quite easy to use. I'd definitely try those
out if I ever need to use another tube size (or lose my turbine).
I definitely didn't want to try anything fancy like twin tubes. I just
have a user who likes to use 3mm tubes... one at a time, for no reason
other than scarcity of sample (a whole other discussion!).
