Dear Laurie,
The anti-vibration foots will do their work (pump them eventually a little
bit more so that the magnet is about 1 cm from the floor). We recently had
major construction works on top of our NMR room (installation of an air
circulation system - 2m above our 400 MHz magnet) and did several tests
(e.g. repositioning of iron part of about 300 kg) in advance since we were
affraid of a quench. But by slowly moving the construction parts, it went
very OK. We just had to reshim (the RT shim coils) a bit.
