Our company is planning a major renovation project in the room adjacent to where our 400 MHz NMR instrument is housed.
This construction involves removing part of the cement floor by jackhammer.

The NMR room will be protected from the construction dust but not the vibrations.
Also considering shutting down the console and computer when the jackhammering is occurring.
What other precautions, if any, can be taken to protect the magnet and console?

Thanks, Laurie
