Hi,
We've just adopted a early 1990's vintage Oxford 300/89 with no magnet documentation. It's at field, but I have no idea of how much nitrogen I'll need per week or when to fill helium and how much to order. We have a helium meter, and I can use a dipstick to measure the N2 level in terms of inches from the bottom of the dewar, but I dont' have much of an idea of volumes and how %full or inches corresponds to actual amount of LHe/LN2. Does anyone with a simlar vintage magnet have an estimate of cryogen volumes, and especially at what % full I need to fill helium, and how big a dewar that would be (I'm guessing a 60L maybe)?

Thanks,

David
