AMMRL: de-energizing 400 mHz magnet

Dear all,

Our Bruker NMR AMX 400 is in a bad way. No support, no promise of a new
one. Do I need to go through the expense of the de-energizing or can I
just let it warm up? I've heard both ways. But, I need to know what's
safe. People do work in the same lab without wall separating them from
the NMR magnet.

Suggestions are much appreciated.

De
