Waters Corporation is seeking a NMR spectroscopist to support on-going chemistry operations research and development. The successful candidate will
have primary
responsibility for oversight and maintenance of a Bruker 300MHz NMR equipped for liquid and solid-state NMR. The primary objective for this position
is to apply liquid and solid-state NMR expertise to the characterization of novel high/ultra-high pressure liquid chromatographic column packing
materials and solid-phase extraction sorbents. This highly qualified individual will assist in user training, implementation of multidimensional NMR
pulse-sequences (liquids & solids), instrument troubleshooting and maintenance, and regular performance evaluations and calibrations to ensure that
the NMR is operating at peak performance levels.
The successful candidate will work closely with research staff to become a key part of a team dedicated to providing superior NMR research capability.
Excellent communication skills, a positive work ethic, and a commitment to service are essential for success in this
position. The candidates should have a Ph.D. or Masters Degree with at least three years of intensive work experience demonstrating an advanced
working knowledge of modern NMR instrumentation, both at a hardware and software level.
