I have the same problem.
Our users have always saved their data (using NMRLink) to a drive letter
mapped to their home directory on an old Novell server. But we are in
the process of phasing out the Novell server, so I need to come up with
something else. I have not had time to do it yet.
One thing that I have thought about is to set up a PC running linux as a
server, and install the mars_nwe software, which is a Netware emulator.
My linux PC would also have a CD or DVD-burner to use to archive data.
