Job Summary:
The successful candidate will join our small molecule high resolution NMR team where the primary
focus is to support other scientists from the Analytical Sciences Department using state-of-the-art
NMR methodologies. You will be responsible for the structural elucidation of small molecules
(organic) in support of the characterization of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), reference
standards, synthetic impurities, and degradation products in GLP and GMP environments. This
position requires the ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences in
Analytical Sciences. Our laboratory is equipped with Bruker NMR spectrometers.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in chemistry (or equivalent) with proven hands-on experience
in small-molecule NMR spectroscopy, strong background in organic chemistry and structure
elucidation. Expertise in chromatography, SPE, hyphenated NMR methods, proficiency in
Unix/Linux based NMR data systems and understanding of GLP and GMP requirements is a plus.
Strong written and communication skills, ability to collaborate with project teams in Analytical
Sciences and work in fast-paced team environment is a must.
Education:
The qualified candidate should have a Ph.D. in chemistry or equivalent with at least 2 years of
relevant experience as NMR spectroscopist preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
