Construction/magnets

We are facing some inconvenient construction projects in the next
year. They will involve working with various construction/destruction
equipment near our 400/89 and 500/51 magnets, outside the 10 G lines
but slightly within the 5 G lines. My question is, should we even
think about leaving the magnets at field during this period? I am
not too concerned about performing NMR experiments, just about
whether we are putting the magnets at risk.

One project will be tearing down a brick wall next to our 500 and
remodeling the neighboring room (as well as the 400's room); the
other will be tearing up and replacing the mall above the magnets.
We prefer to move them both to less exposed temporary locations, but
that will involve considerable expense, moving two magnets twice
each, even if we move them cold both times.

Do we have any other choice?
