Thanks to all for the suggestions and help with our problem with the lock
sweep.

>>We have a problem with the lock sweep of our QE-300 (with Tecmag
computer). We are unable to view a lock sweep on the
>>computer screen, and have to rely on the autolock.

Testing the signal at J7-32 on the motherboard showed that instead of a
sweeping signal, I had a binary-like jumping signal.
I swapped the DAC for the lock sweep (#15) and that fixed the sweep problem.
We had an unrelated problem crop up last week with the lock TX gate, but I
put in a new lock module and the instrument is working again. I will have
to rewrite the script for the autolock to match the new lock settings, but
since we now have a visible sweep, it is not hard to manually lock.

Carl Gregory at Tecmag was very helpful in helping me troubleshoot over the
phone.

Thanks,

Stephanie Mabry
