Short answer is yes, it will likely mitigate the problem somewhat and it should be inexpensive.

Lots of other factors will decide how much money you want to spend to go further.

Type of system, application, quality of the magnet isolation dampers...
300's doing crude rx mixtures in $1 tubes - probably good enough

5-600 and above doing NOE difference spectra? The magnets should already be on good isolation dampers and again the quick fix pads may be okay...

How did you notice the problem?
If it's bad enough, you can see it in your CHCl3 lineshape (7-15 Hz?) but in practice with water solutions you may not notice.

If they have an accelerometer, you can measure the floor and the magnet leg before and after installing the pads.
Other folks here may know of a better pad. Unfortunately, this is one of those issues where we collectively have a lot of experience.

Subject: AMMRL: PRAC unit vibrations

Hi Everyone,

Our new joint NMR lab has two very large PRAC (air conditioning) units on the floor that are causing floor vibrations.
The architect's current thinking to mitigate this is to put neoprene pads under the units:

Tentatively ( our Vibration Engineer is verifying this information), we anticipate providing vibration isolation per the attached and noted below.
* Provide eight 6"x6" neoprene pads under each PRAC unit in the NMR Room SB205.
* The basis of design is the NGD-6-45 by Kinetics Noise Control (see attached). These pads at 0.68" tall and will provide a maximum static deflection of 0.19".
This should (pending some further investigation) mitigate most of the vibration from the problem unit in the room. We are planning to provide this material for both units though. Please advise what times you would like to get together to discuss while we look at this more definitively.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Does anyone have any thoughts about the suggested fix? (If need be I can send the attached pdf file.)

     Thanks,
     Karl Koshlap
