Hi all. I'm trying to figure out just how to do a deuterium-decoupled
carbon-13 spectrum on a Bruker Avance instrument. I'm using the 2H lock
channel for pulsing and can easily observe deuterium using the pulse
program zgh2. I have a 90 degree pulse width calibration for deuterium.
When I try to do a 2H decoupled 13C spectrum I turn off locnuc, turn
the
lock power down as low as possible, turn off the sweep function and, using
the pulse program zgpg try to decouple the triplet in the 13C solvent peak
of benzene-d6. No luck.
I suspect the problem lies in the pulse program however I'm not sure
how
exactly to modify it to get it working. Does anyone have any experience
with this particlar problem and/or any words of wisdom for me?
Cheers :)
