Many thanks to the many who replied to my request for information on Herley-AMT amplifier repairs.
It seems that you can arrange repairs either through Herley or Varian, but going directly to Herley
can save a fair bit of money. However, one name seemed to recommended by the majority of
respondents:

Lowell Beezley, at BpTec.com (info_at_bptec.com) http://www.bptec.com/

Once I have done a few more checks on the amp I will probably contact Lowell. Fortunately, we don't
use this amp that much (it is the 1000 W amp in the solids rack, and most of out small rotor solids
experiments don't need any more than the 300 W of the regular Inova amps).

Many Thanks!
