Hi gang,
A bit off-topic. The air compressor we currently use for the NMR gets it
power from a regular circuit-breaker box. I was thinking the other day,
that if the power goes off and then comes back on, the thing will come
on, and start pressurising the TMC legs 'unattended'. This is something
I am not to enthusiastic about, as a) the magnet wobbles as the legs go
up and I usually like to 'hug' it if it moves too much, and b) setting
the TMCs so that they come up 'straight' always requires human
intervention.
Thus, I wanted to install a relay switch before the compressor. What I
want is one of those boxes that have green 'I" and red "O" buttons,
which if the power goes off need to be pressed by someone to come back
on (i.e., a relay...). I know how this things are called in spanish, but
I never needed to deal with one of these since I've been here in the US.
I looked in homedepot to no avail. Grainger, maybe?
Any clues or alternatives greately appreciated. Cheers,
Guillermo
