Dear members,
The problem was in the 'config' file as correctly pointed out by Sara Kunz
and David Jones. Thanks to them for replying to me on the same day. I also
received reply from KRISHNAMURTHY_KRISH, Rolf Kyburz and Dr Toshi Nishida.
I checked the config file immediately and caught the problem right away and
I was ready to go. I was initially overconfident about the config file
which I read from the console (./setacq) during the installation and
checked the config file again before I started using the spectrometer. I
also ran 1d n15-h1 hsqc that uses the third channel. It worked okay
convincing me that the config file was set up correctly and there may be
other things that needed to set up. It may be that while I was checking the
config file after the initial set-up, I accidently changed the rf
configuration on the 2nd channel.
For such problem in this type of rf configuration:
1. check the 'config' file
2. check 'rfchannel' for its existence in the current experiment. You may
have rfchannel set up incorrectly. If you don't need 'rfchannel', destroy
it in the experiment. If it is a global parameter, destroy it.
3. check rfchannel switching by running h1 nmr with tn=h1 dn=c13 and tn=h1
and dn=h1 combinations
4. If all fails, blame it to the relay.
Thank you all very much,
Sandip
