Alternatives to BIRD HMBC

Hi

We suggest an alternative to BIRD HMBC:

The biggest problem with BIRD HMBC is that it comes with a sensitivity
penalty of about 10% which corresponds to about 20% in instrument time.

What we promote is MBOB (Magn. Reson. Chem. 2000; 38: 981-984) that does
not compromise the sensitivity, and in addition you get a one-bond
correlation spectrum for free, so the time to record an HSQC spectrum is
saved. We offer software packages than run in full automation. You can
find information about how to obtain such a package for Bruker or Varian
spectrometers at http://www.crc.dk/nmr/. Pharmaceutical companies using
these package include Pharmacia-Upjohn, Novo Nordisk, and Merck.
