Hello all, I read this message from Jack Howarth: Has anyone seen the following artifact on an Inova console? I have found that the lock display on our 800 MHz system sometimes shifts horizontally over time. The lock level and plateau stays constant, but the amount of zero baseline before the pateau changes. On occasion, I also see a tailing off appear at the end of the plateau when this happens. Any idea of what exactly could be causing this problem with the lock display? It was a strange hiccup in the system, which generated this nice problem. Look on your Tuning Box ... is it on the channel "0" - zero? Set it on "Zero" and then stop the data exchange via ethernet with su acqproc then restart the communication board and the MSR-board wait a bit then restart the communication between workstation and console via su acqproc The nasty thing is ... sometimes the tune box and the channel wheel does not work properly ... sometimes you tune and match and switch to zero and the system warns you ... you are in the tuning mode ... wheeling from 0 to 1 and back ... then this message does not appear and the experiment starts. My remedy was, someone switched on channel 1 or something else and I rebooted and rebooted and rebooted and the sickness was still alive. I changed the controller board for locking ... the same thing ... A support engineer took 10 minutes and he got the fault ... This could not be serviced via telephone ... I'll hope I can help you a little bit. I lurk a bit in this group ... Yours Ulrich Haunz ========================= Ulrich Haunz, Dipl.-Ing.
