Hi,

I can’t support enough Jessi’s recommendation - specifically inspect in detail
(under a 10x magnifying glass or small microscope) the spring disk for cracks. Any crack will render
the valve inoperable. 
Sometimes when the small central rubber bung just gets indented over time but the spring isn’t
cracked one can increase spring tension by removing one or all of these super thin spacers and with a
little luck the valve is no longer leaking. Check it by switching spinning off and poking open the
upper barrel “rotation” connector using a thin screwdriver (release/close by pulling
back its ring): if no puff of air comes out in multipletries then it’s not/no longer leaking.
