The Chemistry NMR Facility at The Scripps Research Institute has position opening for an NMR Specialist. The Specialist will assist Facility Director in overseeing the daily operation of six spectrometers. These include : routine maintenance and spectrometer performance test, training new users, spectrometer troubleshooting, and interact with more than 200 users, assist users setting up special experiments.
Ideal candidates will have at least BS degree in Chemistry or EE, with at least three years NMR experience, and experience in troubleshooting spectrometers (both in RF and digital).
