Pfizer Inc. (Groton, CT) has an opportunity for an experienced BS/MS scientist
interested in supporting a wide variety of chemistry NMR applications. Our NMR
group has a variety of responsibilities, including general problem solving, new
methods development, and support of open-access instrumentation. The NMR labs
have a combination of instruments ranging from 300-500 MHz which include the
current generation of both Bruker (Avance DRX) and Varian (Unity+Inova) NMR
spectrometers.
Ideal candidates will possess a BS or MS in chemistry or a related field, and
at least three years practical NMR experience (industry experience is preferred,
but not required). Some experience troubleshooting spectrometers is helpful, as
is UNIX workstation familiarity, but experience in supporting a wide variety of
chemists at all levels of NMR expertise is key, including the ability to train
