I am not sure wether the same is true for xwin-nmr1.2, but 1.3 has a
number of pdf type manual pages in
/u/prog/xwin-nmr1.3/docu/english/xwinman/pdf
I draw your attention to netprint.pdf
which describes procedures for network printing, this may help,
