For us, the sponges aren't enough. They don't dry fast enough.
We've been successful with:
1) sponges under the hoses
2) sponges pushed on the metal part of the nitrogen stacks
3) A super absobent cloth (Don't remember the name--I think
they advertise it as wiping cloths and also use it in some wonder
mop; the material is orange) cut in stripes and tied on the
hoses and below the sponge #2.
