My Varian Inova spectrometer appends data to an ascii file every 5
minutes; I chop off the oldest data every 5 minutes so that the number of
data points remains the same. I'd like this data to be converted to a
graph picture (I'd prefer gif, tiff, or postscript) "on the fly". That
is, when a client clicks on a "submit" button on my web page, I'd like the
most recent ascii data file to be converted to a graph picture; a CGI
script would then return a HTML file to the client which contains the "img
src" tag for the graph picture. Does anyone know of a UNIX-based
ascii-file-to-graph-picture program?
