Bio-Mega/Boehringer Ingelheim Research Inc. is one of Canada's leading
pharmaceutical research centers. We are currently expanding our NMR facility to
include a 600 MHz and two 400 MHz spectrometers. An opportunity exists for a
qualified NMR spectroscopist to join our company in its quest for new and
innovative pharmaceuticals.
The successful candidate will join other spectroscopists and a multidisciplinary
research team (including medicinal chemists, computational chemists,
biochemists, and X-ray crystallographers) devoted to structure-based drug
design. Responsibilities will include characterization of protein-ligand
interactions, determination of protein structure, and conformational analysis of
small ligands. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D., with extensive
experience in acquiring and interpreting modern NMR experiments. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

responsabilites du candidat comprendront la caracterisation d'interactions
proteines-ligands, la determination de la structure de proteines et l'analyse
conformationelle de petits ligands. Le candidat recherche possede un Ph.D. avec
de solides connaissances dans l'accumulation et l'interpretation d'experiences
RMN modernes. Il est essentiel d'etre un bon communicateur et de posseder des
aptitudes manifestes en relations interpersonnelles.
