I have received enough responses to realize that this is certainly a
viable experiment, and that there are a few references I missed:
1. L. Frydman and J.S. Harwood, J. Am. Chem. Soc., 117, 5367, (1995).
(this is the one ref. I did have)
2. A. Medek, J.S. Harwood and L. Frydman, J. Am. Chem. Soc., 117, 12779
(1995).
3. C. Fernandez and J.P. Amoureux, Chem. Phys. Letters, 242, 449 (1995).
4. D. Massiot, B. Touzo, D. Trumeau, J.P. Coutures, J. Virlet, P. Florian,
and P.J. Grandinetti, Solid State NMR, 6, 73, (1996).
It would seem that the last reference is the most useful, but noone around
here recieves SSNMR. It also looks like the experiment has been performed
in the Varian, Chemagnetics, and Bruker app labs, so sequences are
available.
I would like to thank: Dave Rice, Stefano Caldarelli, Bill Jarrett, Cindy
Ridenour, Joe Zwanziger, and Ron Nieman for providing this information.
