quadrupole nuclei

Dear NMR colleges

At the moment we are trying to measure low gamma quadrupole nuclei on our
DRX300.
When we try this we see that the first twenty data point of the FID are filled
with a signal coming from the spectrometer and not from the sample.
We have measured Ni(CO)4 and when we tried other Ni complexes but we didn't find
the signal reported in the literature.

The problem starts from 50 MHz and the lower the frequency the worse the problem
is.
In this way we are not able to see broad lines.
Has anyone seen this problem?
Does anyone know a solution for this problem

Thanks and Best Regards
