Dear AMMRL members,
Our lab has a Bruker AC-200 NMR system with an Aspect 3000 computer.
The optical encoder knob, on the lower right of the console, used for
adjusting shims, etc., is beginning to malfunction. The simptom is that the
knob can be turned without any change in the LED display. When the LED
finally changes, it is usually a large jump from the old setting.
Has anyone had a similar problem? How was the problem resolved? Will
repost any useful information back to the group.
