REMINDER

WORKSHOP ON ADVANCES IN MR SAFETY AND COMPATIBILITY:
Implications for Interventional and Functional MRI

McLean, Virginia
June 9-11, 1996

This Workshop is presented by the ISMRM in conjunction with the US
Food and Drug Administration and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
Center for Continuing Education. It will bring together clinicians, basic
scientists and regulators for discussions on current safety issues in MRI
and the compatibility of instruments used in MR-Guided Surgery and other
experimental procedures. In addition to tutorial presentations by leading
investigators and contributed papers on current research topics, strucutued
workshop sessions will involve the attendees in discussions on issues of
current importance. These include regulation of dB/dt during ultra-fast
imaging, ultra-strong Bo fields and the definition of the term "MR-compatible."
