We are considering to buy a few uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems
to protect our NMR spectrometers and workstations. As far as I know, there
are several models from different companies which can handle the job. Here
is the list of these brands and models from my search.

1. Best Power Technology, Inc., Ferrups Model FE4.3kVA/3kW

2. Computer Power Inc., Computersave Mark II FT-T1500 5kVA/3.15kW

3. American Power Conversion, Matrix 5000 5kVA/3.75kW

4. Tripp Lite, Smart DataCenter 5000XL 5kVA/3.5kW

I know that the Ferrups Model from Best has been used in protecting NMR
Spectrometers in some NMR facilities. Are there other spectroscopists who
have tried different brand of UPS? Are you satisfied with your UPS(s)?

I would appreciate if you can share your experience with me and the NMR
community.

Thank you.
