We have been using HP-17763V "SurePlot" Disposable Drafting Pen for over three years without any problem. Just recently, we were told that HP no longer makes this type of pens, and my supplier sent me Rapidoplot's 6720-31F "Easyplot Plus" as equivalent replacemnts. But it is nowhere close to the HP product. Frequently the fisrt 15% of spectrum is "missing" due to no ink flow throught the tip of the pen. And the line seems to be wider than those plotted with HP's pen. Both pens from HP and Rapidoplot are "0.35mm". Does anyone use other brands of Disposible drafting pens besides those from HP and Rapidoplot ?

p.s. I have installed HP LaserJet printer on every spectrometer, but there are many stubborn users who insist using the HP-7550A to plot their spectra on 11" x 17" paper, such that they can "SEE" their data better.
