Hello. My name is Jim Breeyear and I am employed by the Univ. of Vermont.
I manage the Chemistry Dept Instrument lab and most of the departmental
research instrumentation. I have been employed here since 1979 and
previous to that I was involved with setting up the Instrument Center at
the Univ of New Hampshire as well as the Biomedical Clinical Engineering
Center. I have been working in the university environment since 1968
associated with instrumentation in various forms of research.
Most of my time is spent managing the two nmr spectrometers, ARX-500 and
WM-250. I believe there are only 5 nmr spectrometers in the entire State
of Vermont.
I hope to make contact with some of the AMMRL members in the near future
and make some exchanges.
Incidentally if anyone has a "small", low field, working, solutions nmr
for undergrad work, that is taking up valuable space I would be
interested in talking. Thanks
