ASSISTANT NMR SPECTROSCOPIST - Arizona State University. Responsibilities:
assist facility manager in training users in basic as well as advanced nmr
techniques; operate, maintain and help repair 4 high-field nmr and 15 Unix
computer systems (described at http://asnmr4.la.asu.edu/nmr/); collaborate
with faculty in nmr research; modify software and hardware to meet teaching
and research demands; actively participate in the continued development of
state-of-the-art nmr capabilities at ASU. Fiscal year appointment with
salary commensurate with expertise. Requirements: Ph.D. degree in
chemistry or biochemistry, two or more years experience in the operation of
nmr spectrometers, Unix computers and nmr and molecular modeling software.
