We are performing the experiment for determination of hydration number of
lanthanide(III) and actinide(III) using 17-O NMR. For this purpose, we are
looking for the suitable solvent which can contain water and these element
salts, and do not freeze up to 180K, additionally do not preferntially
coordinate to these elements compared with water. We would appreciate any
comments.
