It is well known that the chemical shift of water is temperature
dependent
- so well known around here in fact, that everyone here just
accepts it as
gospel truth and nobody knows the reference. If anyone out there
knows off
hand who, where, and when it was measured, I would appreciate the
reference.
Thanks!

Dear Jeff:
I measured the chemical shift of water as a function of
temperature many times (J. Phys. Chem 1995, 99, 6301) at various
frequencies. I assume that you are refering to pure deionized
water. I subtracted those data from the shifts obtained in a
paramagnetic solution. Those values are buried in a pile of my
data and it is difficult to find them immediately. If I find them
or if I come across a reference on this, I will let you know.
