NMR POSITION ADVERTISEMENT

NMR Spectroscopist Iowa State University has an immediate opening for a
PhD level NMR Spectroscopist with in-depth knowledge and experience in high
field NMR hardware and software, and proficiency in the application of
advanced pulse sequences for structure elucidation. A knowledge of hardwar
design, troubleshooting experience, and familiarity with RF circuits and
electronics is essential. Solid-state NMR experience is highly desirable.
Duties will involve training users in basic as well as advanced techniques,
problem solving, collaborative research, and maintenance and repair.
Instrumentation consists of a variety of Varian and Bruker NMRUs including
Avance series spectrometer with pulsed field gradients, three channels, and
an extensive computer network for off-line processing. Applicants should
