Well, don't give up your research, but my LCD watch, my large LCD
screen on my graphing calculator, _and_ my RGB/SVGA passive-matrix
color LCD screen on my notebook PC all seem to ignore the B field.
(Too bad my test erased my hard-drive! <just kidding>)

I don't know anything about LCD displays or liquid crystals, but I
used my 360MHz Wide-bore magnet for the watch/calculator test, and
a quite powerful (but localized) electromagnet for the computer-display
test.
