Subject: vibrations
We are considering buying a 500MHz NMR in the very near
future. Our prefered site is on the 3rd floor of our
science building. Will this cause problems with vibrations?
We are especially concerned about biochem experiments with
DNA, proteins, etc. whick will run to 4-6 days. Are the
vibration dampers enough or will we have to reconsider the
instrument site? Our university is located in northern
Illinois about 60 miles west of Chicago.
Thanks for your help.
