Dear fellow AMMRL members,
After following this group discussions for the past year and after our recent
installation of a Bruker DPX 300 NMR instrument as a part of the NMR
Center of the Republic of Slovenia (by the end of this year we plan to expand
the Center with another 300 and a 600 MHz instruments from Varian), here is
my first request.
Being in charge of the new instrument I have to cope with the training of the
users. I would greatly appreciate your expert help with the following
question:
Does anybody know about or has prepared something like a "cookbook" for
running NMR experiments? It should basically contain practical instructions
on what to do and how to run more or less standard experiments (1D and
2D), e.g. explain which pulses are used in a particular pulse sequence and
how they are determined, which delays must be specified and how they are
calculated, what to do (check) if the result is not what should be, and so on.
I'm very well aware of the fact that one can find all this in the literature and
that the particular commands are hardware/software specific, but why re-
inventing the wheel if something like this has been done already? Thank you
in advance!
