We have desire to restore data from the WORM drive attached to
our X32 (AMX), but really don't want to download it to the X32
drive.
In the past we have been succesful using remote shells to produce
backups and remote restores via TAR on the Sun stations ethernetted
to the X32. Before I stumble blindly too long trying this with the
optical worm drive on this system has anyone attempted this or
succesfully gotten this to work??
In particular I am worried about the byte size constraints in the
tar and dd commands on the X32 versus the Sun.
