EPR and NMR nearby?

We are about to receive a new 400 MHz solids instrument, and the only
space the department can find to put it is the room where our X-band
EPR instrument (Bruker, 10 in. electromagnet) currently resides. We
would certainly prefer to move the EPR elsewhere, but the room
proposed for the EPR is less than satisfactory, so I would like to
make certain the move is really necessary. It would be possible to
locate the EPR magnet more than 20 feet from the NMR magnet in the
present room. My question is, does anyone have any quantitative
information on fringe fields from an electromagnet, i.e. what
percentage of the pole-gap field would you expect to see 20 ft away?
Failing that, does anyone have any actual experience with EPR
instruments near NMRs?
