INSTRUMENTATION SPECIALIST. The Department of Chemistry, University of
Maine, invites applications for a position requiring expertise in modern
instrument maintenance, electronics repair, and instruction in the use of
instruments used for teaching and research. Experience in the use,
maintenance, and repair of equipment such as FT-NMR, FT-IR, GC-MS, HPLC,
lasers, electrochemical equipment, and computers, is essential. The ability
to communicate technical information to faculty and students is necessary.
PhD in chemistry (or related field) or MS with extensive instrumentation
experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications. Review of
