With help from many of you, we will be moving our aging (but hopefully
soon-to-be upgraded) AM-500 within the next year. In preparation for this
move, I am hoping for a bit more help from this group.
We have old, very poor quality air conditioning in our building: I have a
new temp datalogger that is documenting more than 10 degree changes
now that cold weather has settled in: air conditioning is actually the
least of our problems; during winter, our facilities folks let
building temps drop by 10 degrees or more overnight and on weekends.
We keep the labs uncomfortably cold during weekdays, but the temps still
drop considerably, especially over cold weekends.
So I am trying to get the Chemistry Department to purchase a new room
temp control system. It would be very useful if those of you with good
temp control in your facility would let me know the manufacturer, and if
possible, the model number of your system.
Thanks in advance,
Charlie Fry
